After googleing myself, I was a little surprise that there were 48,100 results because “Kailin” is not a normal name. I was also a little surprise that first link was my facebook profile because I rarely use my facebook. And then I found my Blogger profile on the second page. Beside these two, none of the results that I saw were mine. Since “Kailin” is my English name, I tried to googled my Chinese name. There were only 435 results about my Chinese name, but I still found some interesting results. Same as my English name result, the first result was also related with a famous online community in China. This online community was very similar with Facebook. But different from Facebook, the google result didn't directly display my profile. Instead, it show there were 15 users who had the same name, and then analyzed their info such as 13.33% of these user were born after 1990s, 40% were born after 1980s, and 46.67% were unknown.On the first page, I was surprise to find out that there was a BBS named my name. but the person they were talking about was not me. My name was displayed in couple BBS, and some questions were very funny like “anyone know ‘Kailin (not me)’ from XXX high school. Please tell her I missed her so much.”
