Blog 6 - Plants vs. Zombies

I thought this game was fun to play but generally kind of mindless. It required focus, but generally moved slowly. For the first few rounds, I was kind of bored, but then by the time I got further along it was more exciting. Overall, I found this to be pretty similar to some games I've played in the past, but the premise of this game was a little bit goofy. I did find it funny, but I thought the entire game was a little bit juvenile. I didn't think that it was anything spectacular. It just seems like a lot of games on the Internet, where there's a potential to just get sucked into playing for a long time without realizing how much time has passed. Personally, I spent about 45 minutes playing the game (part of this time was trying to get the site to load...my computer's a little slow). I don't use the Internet for games very often, but I did like this one. I can see how playing this game would interfere with schoolwork: if I got better at it, a single round could take up a lot of time. But for today, I thought it was a nice break and a fun way of interacting with the Internet.
