Plants vs Zombies - Lauren

Plants vs. Zombies was the perfect distraction from the rest of my homework I had to do last night. I kept playing for as long as I could; trying to make myself believe I was doing a CA346 assignment but the truth is this game was totally boring. I agree with the other bloggers in that the game is so addictive. I continued to play in hopes that each next level would bring something new and exciting. Though that hope was fulfilled, the game remained boring with every single new level. This is the perfect time-killer though and i can see how kids waste hours on end playing this pointless game. I found the game hilarious none-the-less. The entire concept of plants killing zombies was comical. The simplicity of the game is definitely what gives the game such a draw. Kids do't have to feel threatened by each new level because i think in the back of their minds they know they have the ability to beat the game and move on to the next level. I don't really foresee myself returning to play this game, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility entirely. I think they're may be another occasion where i need some distraction and plants vs. zombies might be the first good idea I can think of. For now however, I'm going to try to stay away from such boring, time sucking games .... or else ill never get any of my work done!

Oh .. and i have to bring up the fact that Luke was playing Plants vs. Zombies in Modern Family a few episodes back and it was absolutely hilarious ...

Luke Dunphy: "Can I still play Plants vs. Zombies?"
Claire Dunphy: "Are you not listening?"
Luke: "But you learn about plants. And plants are life. Are you against life?"
