Practicum Post 3

Although I found editing Wikipedia daunting, I decided to dive into Wikia today. I created my own Wiki because I was not getting much out of surfing other wikis and there was not much that I wanted to comment on.

It was super easy to create my own Wiki using this website. Because I do not consider myself an expert on any topic, I decided to create a Wiki dedicated to UW. This is not to say that I am at all an expert on this either, but I figured it would be easy to add my own personal experience to this subject. For example, one of the pages that I created within my Wiki was a page about classes and professors. I figured that I could just say what classes I am currently taking, with what professors. Then, to elaborate more on this (which I have not done yet), I could talk about what is done in each class, perhaps my personal experience, and opinions about different professors. I also think that this would be an easy thing for others to add to and comment on.

So far my wiki is not too elaborate, but I plan to work more on it and I would love if any of you would like to add to my page (www.uwmad.wikia.com).
