History of the Internet Response

The Internet has become such an integral part of our daily lives that it's hard to imagine what life would be like without it. For as much time I spend surfing the web, I have never really stopped to think about all of the work that went into creating the Internet. Although I can't say that I completely understand all of the technical jargon this video uses to explain the Internet's beginnings, I was surprised by how international the process was. People from all over the world had to collaborate to lay the foundation for what we call the Internet today. It is also interesting how the process largely began because of the Cold War. Above all, it's amazing how much the Internet has evolved, and how quickly it has evolved. This video gave me a greater understanding of how the Internet came about and a greater appreciation for what it has become. It will be interesting to see what we are capable of doing online five or ten years from now.
