History of the Internet

I found this video to be very helpful and interesting. I found the video to be helpful because it broke down the information we learned in lecture like ARPANET and visually showed us how the internet process works. I found it very interesting because it stated alot of facts about the internet that I didn't know. For example I didn't know that the thoughts and beginning creations of the internet date back to the 1950's. When I think about the 1950's the technology that comes to mind is radio and the beginning of television. I think thats so strange because I feel like the internet is a newer technology thats only been a staple in peoples everyday lives for 10 or 15 years. I know alot of businesses used them before that but I mean having most people have them in their homes and using e-mail etc.
