History of the Internet
Watching this video clip helped clarify some questions I had about how exactly the Internet was created. The video was cleverly put together with simplified, black and white animations that described a complex subject in only eight minutes. First of all, I found learning about "Packet Switching" interesting since I didn't know files were broken up, sent in smaller pieces, and later put together again at the receiver. I also liked how the video explained how the name "Internet" was formed. We learn the name was created when the French network "Cyclades" needed to connect to other networks to operate ("inter-net").
