Practicum- Carla Pentimone
Hello everyone. Today I started my blog for my practicum post. The blog could be found at http://carlapentimone17.blogspot.com/. Feel free to post! As we all had to make a blog for 346, you are all familiar with the process. What you might not have done was played with some of the functions Blogger has in order to personalize your blog. I took about an hour playing around with the blog, changing fonts, colors, adding a picture of the Kohl Center while a hockey game was going on as my background, and changing the format. I put some of my personal information, such as interests, birthday, favorite movies, etc. I am now in the process of figuring out how to make people follow my blog. My goal is to have a good portion of my Facebook friends post/ follow my blog. If anyone has any comments to this post for help/ advice I would really appreciate it! Happy blogging!

Hey Carla! It looks like your blog is off to a great start and already has three followers. That’s awesome. Hopefully you are able to reach the goals you have set forth for the semester with the amount of people and friends to want to follow you. I hope you are more happy with the topic of the practicum you were assigned. I am sorry I was not willing to switch with you but I think this will work out better in the end. I think you have to ability to make a much more interesting blog than I would be able to. It is always so interesting to hear about the lives of UW athletes. I always like talking to people about their practice schedules and the things they have learned through being on the different teams. I have a friend who is a Bucky and I always love hearing him tell stories about tryouts. Good luck with your blog and I am excited to hear about some of the stories you have that you have experienced through your years here on the hockey team. On another note, I think the topic you have chosen for your blog will not only be interesting but might help other students on campus learn a little more about the women's hockey team. You guys have been great the last couple of years and I don't think you get enough credit for all of the hard work you dedicate to bringing home titles for the UW. Good luck with your season and I will be following to hear more about your last year here as a badger hockey player.
