Google Myself Blog #4

So like many of you I have already googled myself in the past so the results of this assignment didn't come as much of a surprise. It turns out that there is an erotic book author by the name of Sasha White so when you google me all these sexy book titles and covers come up. One of the links says that her book, One Weekend, is "a hot, erotic romp from [her] talented imagination." The majority of the links under my name have to do with buying this authors books on Amazon or other online books stores. For me it is weird to find someone else so famous with the same name as me. The first time I Googled my name I was a bit in shock to see that this other woman existed and that her exotic, romantic, sexy books were so popular. Then again, you can also see many other famous people when you Google image just my name. For example, you see this author, the President's daughter, Beyonce (as my name is her alter ego), and the list goes on including models and more.
What I did learn while doing this assignment however, is that there is a Sasha White Ballet School in the United Kingdom. I think this school must be new since the last time I searched my name in Google because I have never seen it before. For me it is not as strange to see a school in the UK with my name. Sasha is a Russian name that is actually the nickname for someone named Alexandra or Alexander.
To actually find information about myself you have to Google my name and my hometown (Sasha White, Columbus WI). Once you do that, the first link is a link to the Journal Sentinel. It is an article that I was interviewed about in regards to the raise in tuition that took place starting this year on campus. The other Google links that come up in this search are about me are the other participants from competing in the Miss WI USA pageant. This information is something that I don't really like talking to other people about or them knowing about because I feel like the topic of pageants has many stereotypes that go along with it. For me is it better to not share that I have competed because I get kind of embarrassed.
