After I Googled myself, I realized that my name is much more common than I would have thought. The majority of the pages that come up are Facebook and Myspace profiles, but none of the ones that I saw (at least on the first page of results) were mine. I found it interesting that the first Facebook page was a girl form South Africa, which is interesting because I never really thought about people with the same last name as me in Africa. The most amusing entry that I found was only about 4 down on the first page, and it was a Samantha Winkler who is in prison in Michigan and looking for a pen pal. There is a picture of her and a profile, describing how she is looking for a Mr. Right. I was just glad there was a picture, just in case there would be any confusion (I had a situation last year where there was confusion with another Samantha Winkler under CCAP and I almost got my car repossessed because of her record... long story, but it is a good example of the dangers of looking someone up online).
