I-Dosing

Before I watched the experience of I-dosing, I watched a You-Tube video which had news clips explaining what I-dosing was. There were also young people who were acting like they were getting high from I-dosing. I found it interesting that they acted like I-dosing is just like doing a drug. They even showed a skit of the teenagers getting their "fix" from a I-dosing drug dealer (getting i-pods was like getting drugs). Just like the other people who watched it, I did not have a "high" feeling experience when watching this eight and a half minute video. It makes me wonder if you can really have this high feeling from listening and watching these videos or if it is an idea that somebody puts in your head and you believe them. Although I didn't really get a headache from watching it, it was very straining on my eyes and I can totally see how someone would. When kids are getting "high" from this sort of technology, it makes me wonder if they need to have some other form of drugs or alcohol in them so they can have the high experience. It is hard for me to believe that people are really getting high from music and a visual, but I suppose anything is possible!
