The Creation of the Internet
What I found to be most interesting about this video is how long it took the internet to get to the workable phase that we are accustomed to today. The fact that it took from 1957 to 1990 for it to be truly workable on a large scale is truly remarkable. Moreover, I think it's truly impressive that in a significantly smaller amount of time than it took to create this technology, it has become something that is used by millions of people worldwide on an every day basis and for a huge variety of functions. I also thought it was very interesting how so many innovations from so many different countries had to come together to make the internet into a well-functioning system. This fact really highlights how the internet is not specific to one country or region, but it has been an international enterprise from its conception.
