My name is Sammi Winkler, and I am from a really small town outside of Fond du Lac, WI. I am a fifth year senior and am double majoring in Comm Arts (Rhetoric) and Spanish. I studied in Spain last fall and it was the best experience ever, but I am also happy to be back in the States, especially back in Madison. I love it here, and actually plan on living in or around Madison after I graduate next May, as long as I can get a job. I currently work for a photographer who has a gallery/ gift shop on State Street, doing anything from retail to advertising. I am really looking forward to this class not only to fulfill the media requirement, but also because I spend a large majority of my time using the Internet for many of my media needs (news, celeb gossip, TV, etc.).
