Google Yourself

When I went to google myself I found that the second link (under Facebook) would take me to what was my MySpace page from about 10th grade. Humiliated and shocked that it still existed, I then proceeded to try to sign in (which required me having a password resent to me, etc) and then canceling the account. I was very unaware that this page still existed and even more so that it had not been edited since I was younger, although I did have some good laughs looking back at it.
Other than my MySpace find, I came across a reunion list that I had signed up for earlier this summer. It was through the website of my camp, where the reunion was held, and here showed a list of everyone attending.
I then found a family tree, which I knew existed from my mom's side. This family tree includes thousands of people who I have never heard of or met so it was pretty cool. I also found that my name came up in a few cases under my mom's name, listed as her child.
Because I have a pretty unique name I was sure that all the responses would be regarding me and not another person sharing the same name as me. This was helpful in my search and didn't cause any confusion. In my results I did not really find anything surprising or shocking that I did not know about on the internet, so that was reassuring. Just a flash from my past with MySpace, but that should be taken care of now.
