Googling Myself

I was a little surprised that the first link when I googled myself was for the Mountaineering club's flickr page and a picture of me. I wasn't expecting a picture to be the first entry about me on google search but the following links were for the Mountaineering Club website where I'm mentioned and one went to a "preview" of my facebook and listed a bunch of my friends. This was a bit unnerving to me and I immediately changed my facebook settings to not show up on google searches, etc. The rest were mostly related to newspaper articles from my home town from when I was in high school and revolved around scholarships, public speaking, and graduation. It was weird to me that there were so many of these older links and maybe I haven't done too much that's "google worthy" in college aside from Hoofers! I guess I'll have to work on being internet famous but at least most of the links were about me on the first two pages and not some other overachiever with my same name!
