IDosing

Like many of my fellow classmates, I had never heard of IDosing before. Curious, I looked up a few videos. My impression was that this was just a big joke that may have expanded. One of the videos I looked at even seemed to be contradictory in that you needed to use headphones for the full effect, but there was a warning that you shouldn't watch it alone. I also thought that the visuals looked very similar to realplayer or itunes visualizer. Does this mean that realplayer and itunes have been trying to get us high all this time? All in all, I don't put much stock in the idea that a video can get you high. Perhaps it can put you in an altered state of consciousness through boredom...but I feel that parents have nothing to fear from this new form of recreation.
