Practicum-Allison

Since my presentation I've been working on getting more involved in the community aspect of my social networks. On 43 Things I have been commenting and cheering other people's goals, and in turn I have received the same. It is exciting to begin to feel accepted in a way, and feel like I'm being supported and that someone wants me to succeed. I still have no friends on Bebo, and soon I might just have to start asking people to be my friends and hope they accept. I feel like it would be adding someone as a friend on Facebook that I have never met, and I will get rejected. I am not getting the full scope of the network though so I need to do something. I have been using Last.fm more like Pandora than a social networking site. I like just listening to it like a radio rather than gaining relationships with others. But once again, I might have to just start talking to people. Hopefully in my next post I will have more good news!
