Blog 6- Plants Vs. Zombies

Playing Plants Vs. Zombies this week was very similar to my experience that I have been having with Kongregate for my practicum project. The idea is very much the same: play this small, fairly simply video game online and get some entertainment out of it. I really enjoy games like these that don't really require much skill, but have the possiblity to keep you entertained for hours. On the other hand, however, while playing games such as these for my practicum assignment, I have noticed that hours at a time tend to disappear when I log on to Kongregate. I believe that it is both a good and bad thing that these games can be so absorbing. Good because it is a good form of entertainment, but also bad because they can be an excellent time waster when there are other things that I should be doing. Consider these games just one more weapon in my procrastination arsenal. :)
