Blog - Computerized Things I've Used

By tracking the computerized things I've used, it really highlighted how many computer-related things I do each day. Today, I woke up and used my laptop, had to reset my wireless box, and then browsed a few websites. I opened up Excel to complete an assignment. I ran some errands and listened to my iPod in the car. When I got back, I watched a movie that my friend had recorded on her TiVo. While we watched, I checked my Twitter and Facebook on my phone, as well as texted a few friends. For now, I'm back in my apartment, just working on this and some other assignments on my laptop. Even those these aren't actually a ton of things, without these I would've had a much harder time doing a lot of the things that I was able to do so easily today. It's almost overwhelming to think about how different my life would be without these computerized technologies.

  1. Yeah I noticed that about myself also. I can be watching a movie, but I will still have by computer open checking different websites and information. It really is interesting to think about how often we do more than one thing and stare at a computer screen
