Practicum 8

I have pretty much wrapped up my research for my practicum project, and I feel that I have learned a lot from my experience with wiki sites. Before this project, I never really thought that wiki was a type of site as much as I just thought that Wikipedia was the name of a specific site. Before this project, Wikipedia was the only wiki that I had experience with, but now I have really broadened my wiki knowledge. Not only did I get the chance to explore in-depth what Wikipedia is as well as other new wiki sites, but I also had the opportunity to create my own site and I thought that was really interesting. I don't think that I will be searching wiki sites on a daily basis anymore or keeping up my wiki, but I do think that I opened doors for myself because the wiki sites can be very helpful. I do think that this will not be the last time I will use wikis other than Wikipedia.
