Practicum 1 - Brooke

After creating my profile on Kongregate Sept. 28, I have spent a few hours a week on the site. After creating an account, you are encouraged to set up a profile (and rewarded with points if you do) and are set on a beginner achievement mission. My first impression is that this site is a lot like X-Box Live. There are points similar to a players X-Box gamer score. The achievements are also very similar. Another thing that strikes me is that, although you can interact with others, it is not by any means a necessity as most of the games on the site are single player games.
