Practicum 2- Mike Kuerschner

Alright, so here is tonight's actual post. I just learned today about "prestiging." Apparently, as you rank up in the games (by getting a certain amount of kills, headshots, mastering weapons, etc.) you can reach the top level and choose to "prestige." You basically get a medal on your profile that says you have reached the highest level, but by prestiging, you drop back down to newbie status and begin the game over again with the lowest weapon set, just keep things challenging for yourself. SO all those people that I didn't think were ranked that much higher than me, but were taking me down so easily have actually reached the highest level and came back down. In fact, you can prestige multiple times, which means they have reached the highest level multiple times. The only benefit of this prestiging stuff is really to get profile badges and brag, at least as far as I can tell. I ranked up to Private First Class today, with 500 experience points. I think I will need to clock in a lot more hours to prestige at all, but it seems like I'm starting to get the hang of it. My kill to death ratio has been pretty even, around 7 kills to 10 deaths. My roommates were right, the more you play the more you get the hang of it. It is not very fun to start out and always get killed right away, but as you learn the levels more and figure out the hiding spots it gets a lot easier. I just recently started using the headset as well. Oh the trash talking possibilities! Its always fun to trash talk while 'gaming', but I keep getting killed by little kids, or at least thats what they sound like, and it is sort of deflating to get made fun of by a 7 year old.
