Of all the sites I am going to to get information from, I think I am getting the most from the poker site. But I am learning the most from the knitting site probably because I am not a very good knitter. I am quite new to it. So it's been kind of cool to see what kind of yarn to use and *trying* to follow the patterns that are posted on the site. I'd put up pictures of my so called masterpieces but its not the prettiest. I have been working on a scarf for a long while now, since I heard that was the easiest to make and I already had some yarn and needles my sister gave me a while back. I haven't gotten very far and am not doing very well. A cool feature that this site has though is there is a part of the forum where you can connect with people where you are from and they actually set up places to meet and talk. The site also mentions good local places to go to buy yarn and needles. I haven't done that yet and am not sure if I will, I don't know how old these people are either. Just because they are from Madison, it does not make them college students!
