practicum #6--Kailin

One of the worst things about personal homepage is that you don't have a friend system. In SNS like facebook, I could check out what is going on with my friends, and we could have interactions with each other such as tag, leave message, common, and so on. Unfortunately, I can not do all these interaction in personal homepage. Unless I am asking my friend to visit, people rarely find out my website. It is so “lonely” to create my “little fashion homepage” without having friends here. The message system is another big problem that causes that lack of interaction. If a visitor leaves common on my pictures or blogs, they simply need to write down their name and the common. If you don't use the name I know, I have no idea who leaves the message. In addition, I cannot reply the common. The only thing I could pretend I reply is to leave one more common saying “to XXX”. Because the visitor doesn't need to provide an email address, there is no way to check whether I write something back or not unless the visitor comes to my homepage again. This is very horrible when I try to do more interactions. Further, in SNS, I could choose who could read or could not read my blog. But I cannot do this with my personal homepage.
